Optical surfaces should be cleaned with lint-free cloth, lens paper, or a cotton swab moistened with a special lens cleaning solution. Please avoid using too much solvent. The lens wiping paper or cotton swab should be properly moistened with the solvent, but do not use too much solvent to penetrate into the objective lens, resulting in decreased clarity and damage to the objective lens.

In order to achieve high flatness in the high magnification lens, a front lens with a concave surface with a small radius of curvature is applied. When wiping this lens, use a toothpick or cotton swab with a cotton ball to clean it. Wipe the lens surface lightly. Do not use excessive force or scratching motion, and make sure the cotton swab touches the concave surface of the lens. After cleaning, check whether the objective lens is damaged with a magnifying glass. If it is necessary to open the observation lens barrel, be careful not to touch the exposed lens under the lens barrel. If there are finger marks on the surface of the lens, the clarity of the imaging will be reduced. Wipe with the method of cleaning the eyepiece.
When the microscope uses the 100X oil mirror, please wipe the surface of the oil mirror clearly and check whether the 40X objective lens is stained with oil. If so, please wipe it in time. Keep the microscope clear at all times.

(1) Before turning off the power of the microscope, please turn the light of the microscope to the lowest level.
(2) After turning off the power of the microscope, please wait for the light box to cool down completely (about 15 minutes later), and put the microscope dust cover on the cover.
(3) After the power supply of the microscope is turned on, if it is not used temporarily, the light of the microscope can be adjusted to the darkest without frequent switching of the power supply of the microscope.

1. When moving the microscope, hold the mirror arm with one hand and the mirror base with the other hand, with the two upper arms close to the chest wall. Do not lift with one hand obliquely and swing back and forth to prevent the lens or other parts from falling.
2. When observing the specimen, the microscope should be kept at a certain distance (5cm) from the edge of the experimental table to prevent the microscope from falling over and falling to the ground. The tilt angle between the mirror column and the mirror arm shall not exceed 45 degrees, and it shall be restored immediately after use.
3. When using, we should strictly follow the steps, be familiar with the performance of each part of the microscope, and master the relationship between the rotation direction of the coarse and fine adjustment buttons and the lifting of the lens barrel. When you turn the coarse adjustment button down, your eyes must focus on the object lens.
4. When observing temporary specimens with liquid, cover the piece, and tilt joints cannot be used to avoid liquid contamination of the lens and microscope.
5. The coarse and fine adjustment buttons should be used together. The fine adjustment button cannot be excessively rotated in one direction. When adjusting the focal length, the lens barrel should be lowered from the side to avoid crushing the specimen and lens.
6. To observe the specimen with a single barrel microscope, both eyes should be opened at the same time, the left eye should be used to observe the object image, the right eye should be used for drawing, the left hand should adjust the focal length, and the right hand should move the specimen or drawing.
7. It is forbidden to unscrew or exchange eyepiece, objective lens and condenser and other parts.
8. Microscope optical parts have dirt, can be wiped with paper or silk cloth, do not use fingers, coarse paper or handkerchief to wipe, in order to prevent damage to the mirror.
9. All corrosive and volatile chemical reagents and drugs, such as iodine, ethanol solution, acids, alkalis, etc., are not allowed to contact with the microscope. If they are accidentally contaminated, they should be wiped clean immediately. Do not remove the eyepiece arbitrarily, beware of dust falling into the lens barrel.
10. After observing the sample with an oil lens, wipe the oil lens and the carrier plate with xylene or anhydrous ethanol to prevent other objective lens glasses from being stained with cedar oil. Xylene is toxic, wash your hands immediately after use.
11. After the experiment is completed, take out the glass slide, wipe the lens clean with lens paper and remove it. It cannot be opposite to the light-passing hole. Wrind it in silk and put it back in the mirror box or storage cabinet. Never expose the microscope to direct light.
